What are your top three favorite boy names?

I asked a question yesterday inquiring about peoples' favorite girl names, and I got such a great response that I figured I should ask again - but this time with boy names.

So, what are your top three boy names? You can include middles if you want (this is encouraged), but just first names is totally fine, too.

Thanks!

Jacob Daniel

Riley Cameron

Connor James
1. Alastair Samuel -- I love the name Alastair because of its medieval, aristocratic feel. Samuel is my boyfriend's name, so he'd have his father's name as a middle.

2. Everett Charles -- Everett is uncommon and traditional, and I love the nickname Rhett! Charles is the male version of my name.

3. Grayson Oliver -- I'm not sure if I'd ever use it for a child, but I really like the style and sound of these two names together. I like surnames as first names on boys, and Oliver is a timeless classic.

My top three haven't changed in a while, and I'm definitely set on Samuel and Charles as middles.

:)What are your top three favorite boy names?
1 -- Dominic James. My whole life, I've dreamed that my first born son would be a dark haired baby named Dominic. I'm not exactly sure why. Call it a premonition, perhaps? :] Anyways, luckily I'm in love with an Italian boy, so the name happens to sound really cool with his last name. James honors my Dad, who passed away from cancer in October of 2008.

2 -- Anthony Michael. Again, I've always loved the name Anthony. And as an added plus, it does sound nice with an Italian last name. Michael is my boyfriend's father's middle name. His first name is Thomas, which I love. But I actually went to college with a guy who played basketball named Anthony Thomas, so I probably couldn't use that.

3 -- Benjamin Phillip or Benjamin Thomas. The first two on my list are pretty stagnant, where the rest change quite often.

Dean Charles

Nathaniel Davis (Nate)

Harrison Paul (Harry)

Charles is after my father. I've changed my mind off and on about the first name that sounds best with Charles. It's been Dean fairly consistently for awhile now (a year or so?). I love how they're two one syllable names that sound longer and handsome together. Kind of my exception to most naming 'rules' I have.

Nathaniel is the boy's first name I've loved for the longest. I used to have it with Charles, but I think it sounds nicer paired with Davis. Davis is the surname of my godmother, who was like family to me before she died of ovarian cancer a few years ago.

Harrison Paul is a fairly new addition. Paul is after my grandfather who died when I was one year old. I wish I got to know him better, but I find it to be such a handsome name.
I have such issues with my boys list -- it changes constantly and I flip between names all the time.

Currently, my top three boys names stand as this:

-- Oliver William (William honouring my father and uncle)

-- Jack Theodore (Theodore honouring my grandmother [Theodora is her middle name])

-- Benjamin Robert (Robert honouring my grandfather).

These are other names that often fall in and out of my list

-- Aidan Paul

-- Henry Elias

-- Lucas Patrick

-- Isaac Finley

-- Nathaniel Riley

:) Great question!
