Why do white people often give their girls boy names?

I've heard of white women named Cameron, Kyle, and even Michael. Meanwhile the boys seem to have the same boring names Bill, Bob, Steve, Ken, Josh, or Jason. Seems silly to give girls boy names. Not to mention confusing. Why do people do this? Why do white people often give their girls boy names?
Maybe people believe that they are being unique by giving a different gender name. I know for some people they were expecting a boy and had a girl so they decided to use the name regardless. I think that in some cases it can be adorable to see a girl named Cori, Toni, Chris, and even Mikel which is a form of (Michael). What makes us unique are our names and the spelling!
Bill is short for William, Bob is short for Robert, Ken is short for kenneth, and Josh is short for Joshua.

Other then kenneth, whom I know of none, I like those names and it is only your opinion that they are boring. I think men should have simpler names and girls can get away with a name that is more creative. A too creative male name can cause problems for him growing up.

Studies show that a name can determine popularity for a child if it is easier for other kids to say and remember.

I don't know not one girl who is named Kyle or Michael. Cameron is a name for both genders.

Why do black people give their kids weird names that are derived from white people names..? Tevin, andrell, Michaela?

Why do black people make up ugly names like shaquesha, nisha, keisha, lavinja, ewwww

Why do black people take a nice name from white people, then spell it wrong? Siobhan, not shavon. Why do white people often give their girls boy names?
There really aren't many gender barriers when it comes to names now. I can actually see naming my daughter Michael Michele... like the actress (that has a black mom).

Why do black people name their kids monique, bonshaquidalafondria, shaniqua, tasha, nastashia, mostashia, jerome, dereal, and tyron?
America is evolving into a gender neutral country, look for unisex restrooms as standard within 50 years.
I apologize that our names aren't as bombastic as Dae-Shawn, Ta'Quanda, and La-sha (that's La-dash-ah).
They're actually unisex names, which means that they are gender neutral names. They can be used for both females and males.
I know of some people who said their parents wanted a boy so they gave them male names.
america want anyone of their kid, doesn't matter boy or girl to be strong cause western value strength over softness
Because people of the White race are deep, creative, extreme and passionate.
LOL @ this question
